Problem Note 20075: ASCII text files are saved on the client machine when importing PC data into SAS® Enterprise Guide®
By design, when importing PC files into SAS Enterprise Guide, one or two
.asc or .txt files are automatically created and saved to the SAS
Enterprise Guide client machine in a path similar to one of these:
C:\Documents and Settings\YourID\Local Settings\Temp\EGImport
C:\Documents and Settings\YourID\Local Settings\Temp\EGImport\SERVER
The problem is these generated files should be automatically removed by
SAS Enterprise Guide after closing the project, but they are not.
It is safe to manually delete the files at any time from the above
specified folders after closing your projects.
